Advanced Machinist Training Courses
Advanced courses at NTMA are designed to enhance and expand the knowledge of those currently in the machining and tooling industry. Students interested must be proficient in the field with prior experience and understand the concepts of machining.
The intensity of these advanced courses is considered challenging and requires full participation for those interested in becoming competitive in this growing industry.

Who Can Apply?
The Advanced Machinist Training Program was developed for machinists currently working in the field or with previous experience. If you have met this prerequisite, we also require all interested students meet NTMA’s basic criteria to ensure NTMA is the best fit for you. As listed below, all applicants must:
- Possess a high school diploma, or its equivalent
- Be interviewed by an Admissions Representative
- Participate in a campus tour
- Attend an orientation session
Exceptions apply for prospective students with special circumstances, such as those enrolled in the Ability-to-Benefit program.
Student Scholarships & Financial Aid
NTMA is committed to making education accessible to all qualified candidates, regardless of background. Depending on eligibility requirements, students have the opportunity to receive aid in the form of scholarships, grants, federal and state funding, or subsidized/unsubsidized loans.
