Who Can Apply?

Our High Tech Machinist Training Program was developed for beginner to intermediate level machinists, meaning no prior training or experience is required in order to apply. We do, however, require basic criteria to ensure NTMA is the best fit for you. As listed below, all applicants must:

  • Possess a high school diploma, or its equivalent
  • Be interviewed by an Admissions Representative
  • Participate in a campus tour
  • Attend an orientation session

Exceptions apply for prospective students with special circumstances, such as those enrolled in the Ability-to-Benefit program. Contact us for more information.

Scholarships & Financial Aid

NTMA is committed to making education accessible to all qualified candidates, regardless of background. Depending on eligibility requirements, students have the opportunity to receive aid in the form of scholarships, grants, federal and state funding, or subsidized/unsubsidized loans.

Visit our Financial Aid page to see if you qualify for any of the options listed above. If you have questions or prefer to speak to someone in the Financial Aid Office, give us a call at (562)-921-3722.
