KAP Manufacturing has been in business since 1997 and utilized the services NTMA ever since. We are a small Women Owned Aerospace Machine shop. We were part of the Department of Defense Mentor Protégé Program in 2007 – 2010 with Boeing as our Mentor. Likewise, we earned the Nunn Perry award in 2008.
Our staff has grown in ability and knowledge through NTMA. Our very first employee came to us as a machinist and became our Quality Control Manager through training with NTMA. In fact, his son who is 22 just recently completed his training for Mastercam, and has been employed for the last 4 years with us. Our Lead Programmer has continued to increase his knowledge through the many Mastercam courses offered. We have also sent several machinists to improve their skill over the years.
NTMA helps us to stay competitive as our employees are trained in the latest technologies. Last year we were named as one of the ULA Suppliers of the Year.
